On Saturday, the 17th edition of EKAG 2022 got underway, welcoming an incredible 1,700+ participants from fifteen countries in the end, as the Turkish and Spanish teams withdrew at the last moment.

On the first afternoon, two shot put finals were already held. An incredible marathon of 60 m heats in optimal conditions brought many competitors new personal bests. The boys produced excellent performances in the long jump, where it took a jump beyond the 6 m mark to make the final.
